Ambient Media is known in Marketing and Advertising since only the mid- 90’s. The core is to bring Media –like freshMAXX® - Out-of-Home to the target group(s), which consume advertising in a predictable way. On one side the consumer should deal with it by choice and on the other side should perceive the advertising in his/her personal surrounding. That leads to a new quality of contacts and another engagement with the product or the service and the advertising. Plus Ambient Media offers the possibility to get much closer to the target group, because the advertising is placed, where the target group is. There a know Ambient Media, like free cards, advertising on pizza boxes, advertising on gas pump nozzles, posters in toilets or screens at universities, posters in showers of fitness studios etc. etc. Ambient Media also can be placed in Golf Clubs, Kinder gardens or wardrooms. The important criteria for the Ambient Media is not a specific Medium it is the specific placement at locations, where the target group is met. The CPM of Ambient Media is often higher than of classical media on the other side, waste coverage is much, much lower compare with classical campaigns. The focus is the quality not the quantity of contacts. |
